Photographs are international language that can be appreciated by anyone in the world. The difference between a cheesy stock photo compared to something unique can change a person's perception of your brand.
Not every photograph is suitable for every website. When placing images on a website there will always be certain constraints. As web designers we understand the need to use images that fit within your website's constraints.
For example your website may have text placed on top of an image. This means we need a consistent colour palette across the image or possible some blurred areas (dead space) to make the text legible. Photographs may need to be wide or tall or square, etc.
Hidden Depth has carried our photoshoots all around Ireland. Recently we were brought in by within Trinity College Dublin for multiple photoshoots covering The Book of Kells, The Long Room and numerous lecture / conference rooms throughout the university.
In 2015 we launched a free photography resource picography.co, which provides stunning imagery for everyone to use however they like, for free. This site has generated millions of downloads across the globe and is one of the most well known free photography providers on the web.
