LearnUpon – Site & Blog

While creating the design for the LearnUpon app I was asked to also design the company Introduction page and the Blog.

LearnUpon provided me with great content for the Intro page and gave me carte blanche on the design. The introduction page dealt with 3 different user types. Each user type had different features which needed to be explained in some detail without makin the page really long and annoying people with a lot of scrolling.

I created a layout which allows visitors to read information about one user type at a time. To switch between user types you simply click one of the 3 circles at the top of the page. A really nice handwritten font is used for headlines to create a friendly feel. The colours used are very strong and memorable. The tan colours are very calming whilst the orange breeds a sense of urgency.

The blog is designed using WordPress which makes adding new content very easy and straight forward. Icons have been used to customise the date, time, user comments and more.
