Your chance to tell people about yourself. You’ve been good refraining from sales jargon and boasting on the rest of your site. Here you can let loose.
Be proud of your experience and achievements.
If people visit your about page they want to know more about you. Still please do not use the “we go the extra mile” jargon.
The About section of your site can really vary. For smaller sites, companies starting out or people with not that much info it is best to keep it short and simile. Facts and figures is what people seek here.
For people with more to say the about section can be split into sub sections like our staff, our locations, our experience, case studies, our attitude or goals etc etc.
Include relevant images. Maybe staff bio shots or your premises.

Hi Dave,
Interested post and I agreed with ya, however I dont seem to see it on your own site, as I was looking to find out about ya, I would like to find out about the person before I do business with, is there a reason you dont have one?
Thanks, cool site and some great work on it. I’ll be in touch.
James
Hi James
You are right about my lack of an about page.nTo be 100% honest I have been that busy making sure my clients sites are done right I haven’t had the time to finish my about page. It will be up within the next month or 2 I promise.
My business is usually 99% face to face for the initial contact so I am lucky in a sense that they get an about page in person. I also try to be available to people as much as possible.
In the meantime if you, or anyone else, would like to know anything about myself, my background etc feel free to email me at Dave@hiddendepth.ie
Really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.
Thanks
Dave
